Room 203: Thursday Afternoon

Eleanor is not Irish by any stretch of the imagination. However any excuse to drink is any excuse to drink.

She awoke on the floor of her room, a large manila envelope on her chest and a Pope's hat on her head. She got up slowly trying to keep the room from spinning as she did. When she could finally focus she looked down to see that the envelope came from Arizona State University. Which led her to her first thought. And because she was so hungover she said it aloud.

"Where the fork did this come from?"

Well. It was addressed to her. She shrugged and opened the envelop to find a stack of papers and a letter inside.

Dear Ms. Shellstrop,

Congratulations, you have been accepted..

"No forking way," Eleanor said aloud as she started looking through the paperwork. "Who did I fork to get accepted into college?"

And after another pause another thought was said aloud.

"And when did I forking apply to college?"

Those mysteries would have to solved another day because-

"Oh! Hey. Schnapps."

Drinking.

Room 203: Friday Evening

Somehow, someone thought Eleanor should be a big sibling to another student. This was utterly ridiculous.

Then again, Eleanor thought about her blonde albino sister and the words of advice and warnings Lana had given her.

So. With the help of some cheap margarita mix and tequila, Eleanor decided to give this sibling thing her best shot. And for the first time since she got to Fandom, Eleanor actually worked on something worthwhile.

Room 203: Sunday Evening

A while back, Eleanor had bought a bottle of blackberry schnapps and then tossed it on a chair. Soon after it was covered in a pile of junk and quickly forgotten about. Today, a month later, Eleanor accidentally knocked the chair sending the month pile of junk on top of it to the ground revealing said bottle of blackberry schnapps.

For obvious reasons, Eleanor now believes in schnapps fairies.

Honestly there have been more ridiculous things in Fandom.

Anyway, she has now imbibed most of the bottle and suddenly remembered she had to tell everybody stuff that was very important.

Email now sent, Eleanor room is now in cleaning frenzy to find more liquor left behind by the Schnapps Fairies. Within the first 15 minutes she found two more bottles she forgot about cementing her belief in Schnapps Fairies.

At least her room will be clean.

E-Mail - TL;DR: Eleanor has declared Wednesday to be ladies night at Caritas because she needs an excuse to go drinking and Astrid went along with it. Tahani is the not-so-randomly chosen designated driver. Even though it is walking distance to Caritas.

A. The room is a mess.
B. Eleanor was still in bed listening to Tahani on the radio being totally judgmental.

"Make better choices, Eleanor," She repeated in a mocking faux British accent. "While I continue to namedrop celebrities because I'm totally better than you. I'm so pretty with perfect skin, perfect hair and luscious lips that-"

Wait. Where did that come from? Right. Back to indigation.

"Make better choices, Eleanor. Mew. Mew. Mew."

Room 203 - Saturday Afternoon

Having a room to herself cut both ways for Eleanor. On the plus side she didn’t have a roommate to annoy her. On the negative side her room was a pile of dirty laundry and dirty dishes. But she had a clean path to her bed and the bathroom and she totally threw a bag of trash into the hallway earlier that day so she totally wasn’t a hoarder. Just a slob.

A slob who had pulled herself out of bed at 2:00 PM. And rolled over just enough to get her phone to start trolling Ryan Lochte on his Instagram account.

Because what better way is there to spend a Saturday afternoon?

The only thing missing from this idyllic lifestyle would be a shrimp platter.

Room 203: Tuesday Morning

Eleanor still hadn't figured out the room situation, so she had spent another night in the ball pit on the six floor despite what Wayne had said yesterday about common rooms and friends who let Eleanor crash in their rooms. To be honest she specifically slept in the ball pit because of what Wayne had said. Because Eleanor was not about to let Wayne dictate where she slept. So there.

And everything was fine until Eleanor did a spit take after listening to the radio where super truant officer had mentioned something about breakfast and Scott Wolf.

Seriously. How do people know about what happens in a common room? Seriously.

Now the problem was that the outfit she was wearing was dirty due to said spit take. And the laundry she had brought back from the mainland was already mostly dirty. Why? Because usually she just waited for other people to do their laundry and she'd sneak in her clothes so she wouldn't have to give up any spare change.

Hoping that maybe she left some sort of clothing behind, she finally ventured down to the 2nd floor and to her old room. Picking the lock (mostly due to luck) she was able to get the door open only to find that the room was completely empty.

"Hello? Ugly cat roommate?" she called out. Nobody. And definitely no clothes left behind.

"Ugh. Fork me."

So with that done with, Eleanor was sitting on her old bed and sorting through her duffel bag and giving her clothes the "sniff" test to see if anything was still wearable.

The Gallery Mall, Baltimore - Sunday, July 5th

There are certain essential truths to the universe. One of them is that TV’s Scott Wolf is a hottie and if there is any disagreement on that topic, Eleanor will cut you.

Well, she’ll say she’d cut you but chances are she’d just call you “basic” and strut away feeling triumphant in her successful winning of said argument.

Now you might think that Eleanor had been spending her time away from Fandom doing something productive towards the betterment of society. If you did then you don’t really know Eleanor.

Friday - A hallway at school...

You know... Things were looking up at school today. Because it involved breaking into offices and stealing stuff. For Eleanor? That was a good thing.

Instead the office was trapped. And now Eleanor was being hugged. All over. By a carpet.

She managed to get out of the office by scooting along the ground like an inchworm.

"Fork. Fork. Fork. Fork. Fork. Fork. FORK!"

This Halloween heist was not off to a good start.

Room 203: Tuesday? Tuesday. Definitely Tuesday. Morning. Blergh.

Eleanor had really tried to make it to school before the first day. Well not really. There had been one honest attempt to pack before she got distracted by a string of YouTube fail videos and then missing two buses in a row.

If you wanted to track her progress on the island you could see a trail of annoyed rickshaw drivers, a moderately offended grocery clerk and a small trail of shrimp tails leading to the dorm.

Anyone walking down the hallway would see her carrying all her worldly possessions and two large party trays full of shrimp cocktail and a bag of two large plastic bottles containing low quality tequila and margarita mix. After struggling with the door she managed to kick it open, dump all her stuff on the floor and proceeded to start mixing a large drink and eating shrimp while looking at her class schedule.

"Ethics? Ugh. Who picked that garbage?" she said finishing her drink and adding a twizzler in it to use as a straw. "This place already blows."

Alas, vacation has interfered with the of attending the newbie picnic and all the brain breaking that goes along with it.

Eleanor will come in on Tuesday (Probably hungover) once I have access to a keyboard.
